That headline is just a surmise on my part, but given the political leanings of this "news" outlet, I feel it's a fairly safe assumption.
MSNBC did an online poll asking if the words "In God We Trust" should be removed from U.S. currency.
The choices for an answer were:
Yes, it's a violation of the principle of seperation of church and state.
No, the motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion.
Out of the nearly 12 and a half million respondents, 14% said Yes, 86% said No.
If I were a gambling man, I would bet that if the results had gone the other way, it would have been the lead story on every program on the network.
